Cake Orders and Auntie-ism

I started making character cakes for my friends birthday as a part of my hobby =) I made Hello Kitty, Stewie, Gachapin, Doraemon, Kermit the Frog, Chopper, Shin chan, Michael Jackson, and some other stuffs like 3D Benz and Wedding Barbie doll cake. Now my friends sees my Facebook, Instagram, and blog and I get cake orders now.  To view my cakes, Click here! 

５−６年前から, 趣味でキャラクターのケーキを作るようになりました。友達の誕生日やお祝い事にたくさんのキャラクターのケーキを作り、Facebookやインスタグラム、ブログなどに載せてきたのですが、最近は知り合いの方々からオーダーを受けるようになりました♪　すごく嬉しいです！☆今までのケーキの作品はこちらで。

Last month, I got an order from a parents to make Hello Kitty ft. Anpanman cake for their beautiful princess Noa =) The hardest part was the Design part. I really didn't know how to feature two character in one… then I let the Hello Kitty to wear Anpanman hat♡

先月は、知り合いの奥さんから、娘さんのお誕生日ケーキを作ってほしいという依頼がありました♪　本当に嬉しくて頑張っちゃいました！　娘さんは、キティーちゃんとアンパンマンにはまっているとのことで、２つのキャラクターのコラボ作品を作ってほしいとのことでした。デザインには苦労しましたが、すごく喜んでいただいたのでよかったです。

Last week, My god sister Ryoko ask me to make a cake for her baby Mia's Baptism Ceremony=) I was  one of Ryoko and CJ's bride's Maid and I was actually there for her birth and helped her push the Mia out♡ So Ryoko + CJ and Mia is very special to me and I was glad to make a cake for Mia's first event =)

先週は、私のカナダの姉のような母のような相談相手、りょうこママに娘•美亞のキリスト教の洗礼式のケーキを頼まれました。旦那さんにも何年もお世話になっていて、ブライズメイドをさせていただいたり、お産に立ち会ったりするような仲なので、気合いがはいりました♡

Some how the weather in Vancouver returned to Summer last week end and it was very bad condition to make cake, especially for the whipping cream =(  Therefore my brother came to my place to help me out to speed up the process. 

突然また暖かくなったバンクーバーの気候。ケーキ作りには最悪の気候だったので、兄に頼んでケーキを作るお手伝いに来てもらいました。とにかく、生クリームを暖めないよいうに素早く作りました♪

My brother and I were invited to the ceremony and we attended Mia's Baptism at the church where they got married. Its too early to become an Auntie Asahi so I was telling Mia to call me a Big Sister =)

兄と私は、二人が結婚した教会にケーキを届け、洗礼式に参加しました♡ちょっと見ない間にすぐに大きくなる美亞をみて、『人間ってすごいなぁ。私ももっと頑張ろう』となぜか思った私がいました♡

I will make a cake for any events she will have as long as I can beat whipping cream♡ Her Sweet 16's cake gonna be like 16 layers (will see…) and Her wedding cake will be 100 layers =)

美亞が産まれてきたその日、２月というのに雪が降っていて、産んだばかりのりょうこママは安静のため、旦那さんのCJが赤ちゃんを抱かないといけなかったのですが、新生児を抱くのが怖かったようで私が変わりの１−２時間ほど抱いていました。今では、首もすわり、笑顔を覚えた美亞♪　これから、いくつ美亞にケーキを作れるのか楽しみです♡
