Okanagan Winery

I've been to Okanagan last weekend to have Winery tour! I gained a lot of power from Beautiful Nature. Here is my picture diary from Okanagan Trip =)

Salmon Season

I got fresh salmon and salmon roe from my friend's father. He is just like my father in Canada, and also he treat me as his daughter. I'm really lucky that I have very nice people around me. I cooked few dishes from it =)

Salmon Tartar
(salmon tartar, avocado, salmon roe, ponzu gelee, light pickled sliced radish, shrimp chip, dill, chive, and mini tomato from my garden)

The summer in vancouver is about to end, and getting ready for fall =) Excited to cook with ingredients from fall season!

Cake Order

It was the First Cake Order I ever got from random people. The order was "Mercedes- Benz C63 Black" Birthday Cake for my friend's friend's friend. It was complicated to make each parts of the car, but had so much fun!! The tires are made out of Oreo, and I even made side mirrors =)

Japanese Italian

One of my favorite food is the Pasta in Japanese style. It uses a lot of Japanese ingredients and spices to make a simple, but flavor full taste. I love Japanese and Italian fusion =)

Summer Breeze

The weather in Vancouver has been great and very hot since last week, so I was cooking cold noodles almost everyday. It is Simple and Tasty =) 

Cold udon with Boiled pork and Sweet sesame sauce  
(冷製しゃぶしゃぶうどん/ゴマだれ)

Korean style somen with slow cooked egg
(ビビンそうめん/Home made 温泉卵)

Shiso Natto Soba
(しそ納豆そば)

Deep fried noodle, Steamed dumpling, Seaweed soup
(あんかけ焼きそば、蒸し餃子、わかめスープ)  

Cod roe Cold udon
(冷やし明太子うどん)

I enjoy the Summer breeze, yet it is sometimes way too hot for me to stand in my kitchen... I miss winter now!! =)
